How many times do you forget especially when you meet someone for the first time, then you ask his name, address and telephone number. Moments later, you forgot all the details of that person? Here's the process on how to develop it:

You can strengthen the brain muscles by doing exercise. This exercise for brain is called Mnemonic. It is derived from the Ancient Greek, "mnemonikos " that means "of memory" It is considered as learning aid. Usually, it's verbal. It could be a song, poem, or even a word that would help a person to remember something; commonly associated word/s between easy-to-remember constructs that would relate back to the data that is to be remembered. Thus, it is the one to encode the information that is hard to remember so that it will be recalled easily.

Kinds of Mnemonic devices

1. Using sentences. This is pretty common to remember a thing. If you want to remember things, then you have to remember the first letter of each word or sentence that represents the initial of the things that you want to recall.

2. Using visual images. Always to remember to use pleasant images because it's the only thing that our brain allows to encode; all unpleasant thing most often will be block by our brain. Make that visual images, colorful, three-dimensional and vivid; these are the things that are easily remembered.

3. Using any funny moments or jokes. Associate these things with names, address or facts you want to recall. It's because all funny things are easiest to recall or remember.

4. Sorting. You have to sort it out all broad information into an specific one.

Nutritional foods, such as fruits, vegetables and healthy fats, are very important to improve your memory skills because it can give a lot of benefits to our body. Aging can affect our memory skills

Of course, when we get older, our memory skills will be deteriorated but not to the extent that it will be lost. You can still store and retrieve new data but not so fast compare to the younger one. That's why; continue exercising our brain can improve it, like simply answering crossword, puzzles or even playing chess is also a big help, especially to the old ones.
